Biographical Note: Eddie T. Allen
Edmund "Eddie" T. Allen was born in January 4, 1896 in Chicago, Illinois. Allen was a test pilot, working for many manufacturers, including Boeing. He was the test pilot for the first flight of the Boeing C-75 Stratoliner (Model 307), circa December 1938. Allen was killed when the Boeing B-29 prototype he was flying crashed on February 18, 1943 in Seattle, Washington.

The Julius A. Barr Clippings
Julius A. Barr (1905-1939) was born in Normal, Illinois and spent time as a personal pilot to Chinese military figures in the mid-1930s as well as worked as a Boeing test pilot from 1938-1939. The collection contains four clippings related to Barr's time at Boeing and his death.
Harold W. Zipp Collection
Harold W. Zipp was an engineer at the Boeing Company for forty years. The collection documents his career, particularly his tenure in Wichita, Kansas, with diaries, photographs and other documents.
