Biographical Note

Brian J. Donnelly was born in 1927. He served as an aerial photographer with the United States Air Force from 1945-1968 and was stationed at the Marshall Islands during atomic bomb testing. Donnelly died in 2006.

Contents of the Collection The Brian J. Donnelly Bikini Atoll Collection is a small collection comprised of two items: a map and a booklet likely collected by Donnelly during his military service from 1945-1968. The map is a photocopy of a hand-drawn map of Kwajalein Island showing locations of the runway and other United States military structures.
