Scope and Contents From the Collection: The Museum of Flight Biographical Information Files is an artifical collection created by the Museum's Archives staff with textual and photographic files on prominent people, groups, and events in the space and aviation industries. Over 1,600 individuals and a couple dozen groups are represented with textual material such as original and photocopies of newspaper clippings, articles, obituaries and other printed ephemera such as brochures and tickets, as well as photographs and digital prints...

Abstract

The Elrey B. Jeppesen Papers documents the career and personal life of aviator and aerial navigation pioneer Elrey B. Jeppesen. This collection is comprised of textual, visual, and audiovisual materials created and collected by EBJ and his wife and business partner, Nadine Audrey (Liscomb) Jeppesen. The documents date from 1843-1996, with the bulk of the material dating from 1940-1979.

Abstract

Clyde Edward Pangborn (circa 1890s-1958) was born in Bridgeport, Washington and was a military pilot and barnstormer. The collection contains photographs and illustrations, correspondence, advertisements, newspaper clippings, a date book, military service records, and ephemera related to the Pangborn's personal life, military service, and barnstorming career from approximately 1912 to 1981.
