Historical Note

Servicio Aéreo de Honduras SA, otherwise known as SAHSA Airlines, was the national flag carrier airline of Honduras from 1945 to 1994. It was originally a subsidiary of Pan American Airways (PAA), however is 1960, Pan Am gave up its stake in the airline and it was taken over by Transportes Aéreos Nacionales (TAN). For a time, the airline was known as TAN SAHSA before returning to its original SAHSA name prior to its closure.
