Historical Note

TAN Airlines (Transportes Aéreos Nacionales SA) was a Honduran passenger and cargo airline. Established in in 1947, it was headquartered in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The airline ceased operations when it merged into SAHSA, the Honduran flag carrier, in November 1991.
