Historical Note

Brockway Air was a regional airline that operated from 1960 to 1989. It was established as Northern Airways, also known as Air North, and was based in Burlington, Vermont. The airline partnered with Allegheny Airlines to serve an expanded area. In 1986 it became a Piedmont Airlines commuter service partner. This lasted until the airline was bought and lost its corporate identity becoming Metro Air Northeast.
