Historical Note
Deutsche Lufthansa AG, also known as Lufthansa German Airlines, although it is more commonly seen as Lufthansa, began in 1953 and is the flag carrier of Germany. It uses the same name and logo as Duetsche Luft Hansa, a defunct German airline that operated from 1926-1945.

Content Description
The Robert E. Hage Photograph Collection consists primarily of visual materials related to Hage's career as an aeronautical engineer and executive at the Boeing Company and McDonnell Aircraft Company in the mid-to-late twentieth century. Hage's time at Boeing is documented with four official black-and-white 8x10-inch photographs of Hage with colleagues. Contents of the Collection
The Roy and Margaret Thrush Commercial Aviation Collection is a small collection that focuses mainly on Roy Thrush's 20-year career as a commercial pilot for TWA with a much smaller focus on his brief time at Lufthansa. The bulk of the collection is textual documents, including pilot logs; employee documents, including correspondence, memos, and schedules; membership cards; and a partial TWA pilot's manual.
