Clarence DeGiers photographic portrait
The collection is a single undated 8x10" sepia-toned photographic portrait of Clarence DeGiers, an early aviation pioneer and the first pilot ever to fly in Panama, by an unknown photographer. The portrait was possiby used as inspiration for a portrait painting of DeGiers by artist Justin Gruelle.

The album holds 86 photographic prints and additional digital prints, clippings, and assorted pieces of ephemera. The album was likely compiled by Johnny Dingle, who was a founding member of The Museum of Flight and a pilot of the Boeing 247D.

Charles Wallace Drew (1896-1979) served as a pilot with the U.S. Army Air Service during World War I, and later worked as an airport engineer. The collection contains correspondence, photographs, clippings, and other materials relating to Drew's wartime experience.
