Scope Note: Aircraft - refers to Boeing's original, internal designation for the SST, dating back to 1958. When Boeing was named a finalist (along with Lockheed) to build the American SST, Boeing changed "Model 733" to the more-salable "Model 2707," which was the only designation for the SST that Boeing ever released to the public. This term should only be used for early SST material.

Contents of the Collection The Donald B. Croly Boeing Concept Art Collection holds 39 pieces of concept art created by Croly, circa 1940s-1970s, during his time as an artist at the Boeing Company.
