Scope Note: On November 23, 1964, TWA Flight 800 Boeing 707, scheduled to fly from Rome, Italy to Athens, Greece, crashed shortly after takeoff from the Leonardo da Vinci Rome Fiumicino Airport. Forty-three people died and 29 survived.
