Contents of the Collection This small collection contains photographs and lithographs of Douglas Aircraft, 1933-1958. There are seven 8x10" black-and-white photographs of the Douglas DC series. Each of the aircraft are depicted in flight and several images include Douglas Aircraft Co. stamps on the reverse. The Roy Herbert Royal Air Force (RAF) World War II Collection is comprised of materials relating to Herbert's RAF service as part of the 103rd Squadron during World War II. The materials were likely gathered by Herbert and include military identification and records, black-and-white portraits of Roy Herbert, clippings and photocopies related to the 103rd Squadron and its members, and a lithograph of a Lancaster B.I, which was utilized by the 103rd Squadron during the Battle of Britain.
