Contents of the Collection The Florence McEvoy Photographs of Charles Lindbergh is a small collection comprised of seven black-and-white photographs taken just prior to the start of Charles Lindbergh's 1927 transatlantic flight. Six of the photographs were taken by Florence McEvoy, who lived in Rockville Centre, Long Island, and saw the aircraft, presumably at nearby Roosevelt Airfield.
