The Aircraft Identification Posters Collection is an artificial collection comprised of visual materials ranging from 1916-1946 designed to help individuals on the ground identify aircraft during wartime.
Alfred Goldberg Photograph Collection
James D. Griffin Photograph Collection
James D. Griffin was an engineer for McDonnell Douglas Corporation. The collection contains five hundred and ninety-six (596) photographs, likely collected and notated by Griffin, featuring primarily Douglas Aircraft Company airplanes manufactured during the 1910s-1970s but also, to a lesser extent, other manufacturer models; including Aero Spacelines, Boeing, Consolidated, and Northrop. There is also a small amount of clippings, newsletters, and articles.
William Orthman World War II Collection
William Orthman (1911-1990) was drafted into the United States Army in 1942. He served in the China-Burma-India Theater as Public Relations Officer. The collection is comprised of 340 photographs and a small amount of textual materials from his 1945-1946 service.
