This small collection is comprised of color photographs, a postcard, and wine labels collected during the Concorde's first visit to Seattle and Boeing Field on November 15, 1984. The British Airways Concorde came to Seattle as part of a "Flight to Nowhere" promotional fundraiser for the Museum of Flight. The Joann Osterud Logbooks is a collection of seven flight logbooks documenting Osterud's career as a pilot, dating from 1968-1986. The earliest book records Osterud's flights as a student pilot. Flights in the early 1970s include many out of Boeing Field (King County International Airport) in a Cessna 150A. Later logs document her work as a pilot primarily flying at airshows. Abstract
Clyde Edward Pangborn (circa 1890s-1958) was born in Bridgeport, Washington and was a military pilot and barnstormer. The collection contains photographs and illustrations, correspondence, advertisements, newspaper clippings, a date book, military service records, and ephemera related to the Pangborn's personal life, military service, and barnstorming career from approximately 1912 to 1981.
