Abstract The John and Alan Blum Northwest Aviation Collection consists of visual and textual materials related to the lives and careers of John and Alan Blum. John founded the Northwest Air Service Company and Alan served as President after his brother died in a plane crash in 1931.

Jim and Helen Jacobs Concorde Collection

Contents of the Collection This small collection is comprised of color photographs, a postcard, and wine labels collected during the Concorde's first visit to Seattle and Boeing Field on November 15, 1984. The British Airways Concorde came to Seattle as part of a "Flight to Nowhere" promotional fundraiser for the Museum of Flight. Photographs feature event attendees on airport shuttle and the Concorde landing and taxiing at Boeing Field. Wine labels were collected from Beaujolais nouveau wine delivered by the flight.

Content Description The Joann Osterud Logbooks is a collection of seven flight logbooks documenting Osterud's career as a pilot, dating from 1968-1986. The earliest book records Osterud's flights as a student pilot. Flights in the early 1970s include many out of Boeing Field (King County International Airport) in a Cessna 150A. Later logs document her work as a pilot primarily flying at airshows. Planes flown include Piper J-3 Cub and Stephens Akro. Her work for Alaska Airlines from 1975-1978 is...

Clyde Pangborn Collection

Abstract Clyde Edward Pangborn (circa 1890s-1958) was born in Bridgeport, Washington and was a military pilot and barnstormer. The collection contains photographs and illustrations, correspondence, advertisements, newspaper clippings, a date book, military service records, and ephemera related to the Pangborn's personal life, military service, and barnstorming career from approximately 1912 to 1981.
