The John R. Buschmann B-29 Collection

Abstract
Lt. Col. John R. Buschmann compiled this information about the Boeing B-29 Superfortress, known as "T-Square 54," through personal research and interviews with former crew members. In 2015 these materials, including a short history of the plane written by Lt. Col. Buschmann, were donated to the Museum of Flight in an effort to keep the physical plane and its history housed in one location.

Lee Embree Collection

Abstract
Lee R. Embree (1915-2008) was born in Iowa, enlisted in the Army Air Corps in 1936, and was assigned to the 38th Reconnaisance Squadron as an aerial photographer during World War II. Embree was at Hickam Field, Hawaii during the 1941 Pearl Harbor bombing and took several photographs. The collection contains photographs, textual materials, audiovisual materials, and a scrapbook that relate to Embree's military service and photography as well as his post-war photography activities.

Terry Hammonds (born 1941) was a reporter who followed Space Services, Inc. (SSI) and wrote articles, as well as took photographs, about SSI's Percheron and Conestoga projects. The collection is comprised of audiovisual materials, including photographs, slides, negatives, and two (2) audiocassettes, as well as a small amount of textual materials relating to Space Services, Inc. and the 1981-1984 Percheron and Conestoga rocket programs.

Joann Osterud was a stunt pilot who flew in airshows from the late 1970s through the 1990s. The Jim Plant oral interview is a small collection consisting of an audio recording and related document of an oral interview conducted by Fred Parkinson with his uncle Jim Plant in August 1996 about Plant's experience as a prisoner of war during World War II. James Plant was a bomber pilot for the Royal Air Force during World War II who was shot down in July 1940 over Germany.
