Contents of the Collection
The Jeffry Culver Boeing Field Negatives is comprised of 22 black-and-white negatives taken at King County International Airport, otherwise known as Boeing Field, by Culver in 1970. The images are 35mm and were taken for a photography class while Culver was a student at Bellevue High School in Bellevue, Washington. The images depict stationary aircraft at the airport. Many of the aircraft views are obscured or from a distance. Some images include people and or buildings in the background....

The Ethyl Y. Dale Airman's World Annotated Book is a small collection consisting of one book that Dale used as a travel diary from 1932-1969. The book is a copy of Airman's World published by William Morrow in New York in 1933. Dale recorded all the flights she took throughout the pages of the book. The collection is comprised of materials, including scrapbook pages and loose photographs as well as two clippings, related to Marilyn (Chittick) Deel and her time as a flight attendant and purser for Pan American World Airways (Pan Am), 1959-1961. The bulk of the collection are the scrapbook pages. The pages are black paper and primarily hold photographs using photo corners, tape, and/or glue. Overview
James Hamilton Smith (1913-2002) attended the Boeing School of Aeronautics and worked in the field of aviation as a government contractor for the Boeing Company, as well as the Defense Contract Administration Services. This small collection consists primarily of black-and-white photographs that were either taken or collected by Smith during his time at the Boeing School, as well as throughout his career in aviation, which spanned from the early 1930s to the late 1960s.
