Content Description The German Aces Photograph is one photographic print featuring two images. The larger image shows top fighter ace Erich Hartmann examining a chart with fellow fighter ace Gerhard “Gerd” Barkhorn. The two are wearing official Nazi Luftwaffe uniforms. The smaller, insert photograph is a formal portrait of General Adolf Galland in dress uniform. The print is signed by Erich Hartmann and Adolf Galland.

Contents of the Collection The Ted Young Aviation lithograph collection is comprised of eighteen (18) 11x14" color lithographs of assorted aircraft and aviators, created in 1974-circa 1990s. Identified aircraft include the Wright Military Flyer, "The Spirit of St. Louis", and Lockheed Vega "Winnie May." Identified personalities include Amelia Earhart, Samuel Pierpont Langley, Wilbur and Orvile Wright, General Jimmy Doolittle, Robert H. Goddard, Neil Armstrong, and John Glenn. Contents of the Collection This is a very small collection comprised of World War II-era aviation ephemera, dated 1941-1945, collected by David Brown. The collection includes a "God is My Co-Pilot" promotional booklet, four pieces of WWII-era sheet music, an October 1945 United States Army Air Forces Fair leaflet, and a "Parade of Aircraft," souvenir booklet from the Wright Field Air Fair, Dayton, Ohio, October 1945.
