Contents of the Collection The Marc V. Pierce Aeronautical Chart Collection is comprised of aeronautical charts and maps collected by Marc V. Pierce, a United States Navy pilot during the Vietnam War and later, a Captain for American Airlines. The collection holds 114 maps dated from 1923 to 1951, with the bulk of them being from the 1920s-1930s.
