The Jack Schwartz Collection of World War II Aircraft Recognition Cards is a small collection consisting of a set of World War II-era cards used for aircraft identification, collected by Schwartz during his service with coastal artillery stationed at Fort Casey, Washington. There are 75 cards in total, all measuring 4x5.5 inches, and describing a variety of American, European, and Japanese military aircraft. Each card describes a single aircraft. One side of each card has three silhouette views of the aircraft and the reverse side includes descriptive information about it. Twenty-nine of the cards are numbered 1-30 (#7 is missing), and forty-six of the cards are unnumbered.
