Collection consists of an "Application for Home-Canning Sugar Allowance" for 60 pounds of sugar from Bertha Boeing on behalf of William Boeing and William Boeing, Jr., dated July 22, 1944. A no. 37 sugar war ration stamp is applied next to each family member's name. The application is signed by Bertha Boeing.

Biographical Note
Bertha Potter Paschall Boeing was the daughter of Howard Cranston Potter and Alice Kershaw Potter. She married her second husband, William E. Boeing Sr., in 1921. She gave birth to Bill Boeing, Jr. in 1922. Bertha Boeing died in 1977.
