One (1) safety bulletin from the Civil Aeronautics Board in Washington, D.C. September 11, 1943.

Report for February 22, 1943. A Boeing Model 314 Clipper (NC-18603) operated by Pan American Airways crashed in the Tagus River near Lisbon, Portugal while on a scheduled air carrier flight from New York, New York and Foynes, Eire [Republic of Ireland] (with stops in Bermuda, the Azores, and Lisbon). 19 passengers and 5 crew members were killed, 2 passengers received serious injuries, 2 received minor injuries and 4 were uninjured. 7 additional crew members also received minor injuries. The pilot was R.O.D. Sullivan.
