Four (4) minor incident reports from the Civil Aeronautics Board in Washington, D.C. Dated June 18, 1943.

One (1) safety bulletin from the Civil Aeronautics Board in Washington, D.C. No date.

Report for November 4, 1942. A Douglas DC-3 (NC-18951) and a Douglas C-53 Skytrooper (Army 20116) collided in mid-air near Kansas City, Missouri. The DC-3, operated by Transcontinental and Western Air, was on a check flight as part of routine flight instruction. The C-53 was on a non-stop cross country flight from Indianapolis, Indiana to Wichita, Kansas in the service of the U. S. Army Air Forces. The DC-3 captain, Lawrence Karl Welch, received minor injuries but none of the other 5 persons on board the two aircraft were injured. The C-53 was piloted by Captain Loyal Tyler Penn.
