Contents

From the Series:

This series contains Aircraft Accident Reports from the Bureau of Air Commerce and the Civil Aeronautics Board, circa 1937 to 1944. These items were formerly stored in the original envelopes that the reports were sent to Colonel Moore in. The original order of these items has been preserved - they are organized in the order Col. Moore received them. Note that reports were often filed months after the actual accident occurred. The first seven (7) folders contain a mix of reports from full years, while the next forty-five (45) folders contains reports from one to three month periods. The final folder is of unorganized loose materials found in the box that contained all of the envelopes of reports.
