Report for October 12, 1941. An Aeronca C-3 (NC-13560) and a Piper J-2 Cub (NC-19500) were involved in a collision near Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania while on a training flight. The pilot of the Aeronca, Claude R. Judy Jr., and his student were killed in the accident. The pilot of the Piper Cub, Bertram A. Tripp, was not harmed.

Report for May 27, 1942. A Piper J-3L Cub (NC-35857) owned by McInnis Aviation Services crashed near Morris, Minnesota while on a training flight. The pilot, Lyle Nelson, was killed and his passenger was seriously injured.
