Report for August 10, 1937. A Douglas DC-2 (NC-13739) operated by Eastern Air Lines crashed near Daytona Beach, Florida while on a scheduled mail and passenger flight from Chicago, Illinois to Miami, Florida (with stops in Indianapolis, Louisville, Nashville, Chattanooga, Atlanta, Jacksonville, and Daytona Beach). The pilot, Stuart G, Dietz, his copilot, and 2 passengers were killed, while the steward and 4 passengers sustained injuries.

Report for December 23, 1936. A Lockheed Model 10-A Electra (NC-14905) operated by Braniff Airways crashed near Dallas, Texas while on a test flight after the replacement of the right engine. The pilot and 5 passengers were all Braniff Airways employees, and they were all killed.

Report for August 2, 1937. A Sikorsky S-43 Amphibion (NC-15065) operated by Pan American Grace Airways crashed near Cristobal, Canal Zone [present day Panama] while operating a passenger flight between Cristobal and Talara. The pilot, Stephen Dunn, his first officer, the purser, and all 11 passengers were killed.
