Proxies for stockholders, 1911
Scope and Contents
One folder labeled "#6" containing 6 proxies for the meeting to be held on November 8, 1911. Each proxy contains the name of the stockholder and the name of the proxy authorized to vote upon all stock held and act fully on all business. There are proxies for, August Belmont, Cornelius Vanderbilt, Frank Hedley, Russell A. Alger, John D. Lindsay, and T.P. Shonts (?). Each Proxy is signed by the stockholder and lists Andrew Freedmen and Pliny W. Williamson as the proxies. All of the Proxies include signatures of a witness. There are 2 pages written in pencil to authorize or record that Andrew Freedmen voted 5330 and 620 shares for “present directors.” There is also a list of stockholders and the number of share for each. There is also a notice of publication of the announcement of the meeting in The New York Press that includes a copy of the announcement.
