Certificate of Merger -- carbon copy, 1917 June 26
Scope and Contents
A 4-page carbon copy of a transcript of the Certificate of Merger of the Wright Company and the Wright-Martin Aircraft Corporation certified as correct by the Second Deputy Secretary of State of New York, C.W. Taft, on June 26, 1917. The original Certificate was filed and recorded on June 25, 1917. The Certificate includes the text of the resolution of the Directors of the Wright-Martin Aircraft Corporation to merge the Wright Company and be liable for any of its debts or liabilities. The original Certificate was signed by J.F. Alvord as President, attested to by W.J. Nixon as Secretary, and notarized by Benjamin H. Brinton on June 21, 1917.
