Five (5) letters relating to Hazel Draper's mental health and hospitalization:

Letter, Eben Draper to Archibald, February 25, 1936. Notifies Archibald of Hazel's convalescence in a sanitarium, asks him to write only "cheerful" letters and to carry on with his life. Four (4) handwritten pages.

Letter, Hazel Draper to "Mac" [S. E. McKeown?], undated. Asks for his help in getting out of the sanitarium and gives detailed plan, appended note addressed to Archibald describes enclosures that came with original letter. Typescript copy, presumably transcribed from original to forward to Archibald. Four (4) typed pages.

Letter, "McK" [S. E. McKeown?] to Archibald, undated. Condolence letter, presumably regarding Hazel's health. One (1) handwritten page.

Letter, "Clark" to Archibald, April 26, 1936. Condolence letter regarding Hazel's health. One (1) folded sheet, three (3) handwritten pages.

Letter, Hazel Draper to Eben Draper, May 1, [no year]. Describes possible suicide attempt, apologizes. Note on reverse states she is under assumed name, asks a Mr. Radford to send the letter to Eben. Four (4) typed pages.
