One (1) black and white group portrait of men in uniform, 1918. Photo is mounted on paper with a clipping regarding Hartney becoming an ace. Accompanying envelope includes handwritten notes on the men pictured and caption "leaving Camp Taliaferro, Jan. 23, 1918."
Nine (9) photographs of World War I scenes and Hartney family photos, circa 1914-1963.
Two (2) scrapbook pages with fourteen (14) black and white photographs and handwritten captions, circa 1915-1920s. Images include family and friends, men of the 28th Battalion (Canadian Expeditionary Force), and travel photos, possibly post-war.

One (1) negative of an unidentified pilot from the 335th Tactical Fighter Wing kneeling in front of an aircraft, undated. Label on front: "335th Tac Ftr Wg Pilot - Taken Mar and April 66 by AIC Hailey."

One (1) black-and-white photograph of Lt. Col. Harold E. Hartney next to his DVIII Fokker at Rock Island Field, Illinois, 1919. Caption on front: "On the return journey of the Transcontinental Race. The old Fokker is pretty badly battered up and the lacing used on the side panel when Larry Bell and Donald Douglas installed the auxiliary gas tank is clearly visible in this picture. Compliments of Hunter's." There is a smaller reproduction version of this image as well.
