Flossie Smith
Scope and Contents of Collection
The Walter and Flossie Smith Collection document Walter's three-decade long career in the U.S. Air Force (1942-1973) and his active participation in the P-47 Pilots Association. There are also several pieces of sheet music which belonged to Flossie.
Walter's military career is represented with various types of military records, a logbook, and awards and citations. There are also several items related to his involvement with the the Air Force Association in addition to numerous items from the P-47 Pilots Association.
Flossie's sheet music collection includes a book of military themed sheet music and World War I era sheet music.
