Biographical Note

Albert "Al" G. Handschumacher was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, circa 1918. During World War II he served as a Major in the Army Air Corps. Handschumacher served as president of Lear Inc., then Lear Siegler and then Aeronca for 15 years.

He died in November 1998 in California.
