Biographical Note: John R. Sutherland

John R. Sutherland served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. At the time of his enlistment on June 30, 1942, he had been working for the Boeing Company at plant 2 in Seattle, Washington. During his service, he served aboard the USS LExington in the Pacific Ocean in battles of the Philippine Sea. He was born September 7, 1923 and died May 1985. No further information is known.
