Biographical Note: Bill McIntosh

Bill McIntosh was an Aeronautical Engineer at the Boeing Company for 38 years and a docent and the Museum of Flight.

McIntosh served in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1956 as a Missile Mechanic. He spent two years instructing at the Army Ordnance Guided Missile School in Redstone Arsenal. Then he worked for The Boeing Company for 38 years as an Aeronautical Engineer. He worked on the stability and control on the 707, 727, and 737. In addition, he worked on the configuration development on the 767, and served as the Chief Aerodynamicist on the 777. McIntosh spent ten years on stability and control issues, and then spent the remainder of his time at Boeing on wing design and configuration development. He retired in 1996.

As of 2021 he was active with the Museum of Flight's Docent Corps.
