Biographical Note

Betty (Marnette) Houston was born in Lester, Iowa on January 11, 1921. She met Frank "Sam" Houston in Spokane, Washington after World War II. They wed and relocated to Seattle, where she worked for Northwest Airlines as a ticket reservation clerk. Houston passed away August 18, 2016.
