Biography

Ted Lehberger is a member of The Museum of Flight Docent Corps and has worked in broadcast, cable, and satellite television operations for over 40 years. He holds a degree in Communications and Political Science from the University of Washington, as well as an FCC license and a private pilot’s license. He has also served in the United States Army Security Agency as a Morse Code Intercept Operator in the late 1960s and early 1970s.

Summary [From transcript] Bill Wilson was a General Dynamics F-111 pilot during the Vietnam War. He discusses his time in the United States Air Force, his deployment to Thailand, and his combat missions against MiGs while dodging surface-to-air missiles. He recalls a mission over Hanoi in which he and his partner were shot down and eventually captured by enemy troops. Being near the end of hostilities, he did not have to endure the harsh treatment that pilots who were captured earlier received. Bill...
