Biographical Note
James Olin Brewer was born on December 28, 1917. During World War II, he served as a pilot flying P-38s and P-40s with the 35th Fighter Squadron, which was active in New Guinea, New Britain, and Solomon Islands.
In 1944, he married Mary Eugenia Johnson (1919–1979). The couple had a son, Randell. James O. Brewer died on December 17, 1996.
