Biographical Note

Donald "Don" A. Glass was born on October 3, 1904 in San Ramon, California. He was a pilot and founded Glass Flying Service in Alaska. He also flew for McGee Airways, Woodley Airways, and Star Air Lines.

Glass married Marian A. Hellum (1913-1978) on October 24, 1928. The couple had one son. Don Glass died on January 12, 1943 in a fatal aircraft accident in Juneau, Alaska.
