Biographical Note
Jake Schultz is a Museum of Flight volunteer who contributes to public programs and other Museum events. He also serves on the Spaceflight Committee for the Board of Trustees. As a Boeing employee, he has worked as a technical analyst and as the company’s corporate historian. In 2006, he published the book A Drive in the Clouds: The Story of the Aerocar.

Contents of the Collection
The Jake Schultz Aerocar Film Collection is a small collection consisting of one film related to Molt Taylor and the Aerocar III (N100D), circa 1968. The footage includes multiple segments. The first segment depicts Taylor and others on a rocky shoreline at Cape Disappointment, Washington; the Cape Disappointment lighthouse is visible in some shots. Contents of Collection
The Jake Schultz Boeing 787 Collection is a very small collection comprised of Boeing 7E7/787 Dreamliner ephemera dated 2004-2010. The collection includes brochures, decals, a first flight cover dated December 15, 2009, and business cards from various Boeing personnel, including Schultz. The materials were collected by Schultz during part of his time working at Boeing.
