Biographical Note

evé Martinez-Petrut was born in Chicago, Illinois. Martinez-Petrut became an Eastern Airlines flight attendant in 1958. She remained with Eastern for a year then left to get married. Martinez-Petrut spent some time in Scotland and moved to Seattle, Washington in 1980. She graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 1982 with a Bachelors' in Communications. As of 2008, Martinez-Petrut had retired and was living in Washington state.

Contents of the Collection The evé Martinez-Petrut Eastern Airlines Flight Attendant Collection is quite small. The collection contains a November 1958 Eastern Airlines (EA) flight attendant diploma for Martinez, including a black-and-white 8x10" group portrait of the graduating class and a program and menu for the graduation event. Digital prints for each of these items are also included in the collection, as well as a CD-ROM which holds digital files, per donor information. The collection also has one "Occupied" seat...
