Biography

Julius Christian Harland Knauss was born in 1898 in Minnesota. He trained at the Naval Training Camp in Seattle, Washington during World War I. According to the U.S. Census, he was the Quartermaster 1st Class at Naval Air Station San Diego (California) in 1920. Knauss died in 1986 and is buried in Minnesota.
