Historical Note

Trans Caribbean Airways was a United States cargo and passenger airline owned by O. Roy Chalk. Its hub was San Juan, Puerto Rico. Founded in 1945 as Trans Caribbean Air Cargo Lines, it rebranded in 1952. It ceased operations in 1971 when it was acquired by and merged into American Airlines.
