Historical Note

Provincetown-Boston Airlines (PBA) was a United States regional airline that operated from 1949 to 1989. It primarily served the New England area and was based in Provincetown, Massachusetts. The airline was purchased by People Express Airlines in 1986 although it continued to operate under its own brand. PBA ceased operations when it was merged into Britt Airways.
