Historical Note

Established in 1953, Trans Mediterranean Airways SAL, styled as TMA Cargo, was a cargo airline based in Beirut, Lebanon. In 2004, the airline ceased operations when it lost its Air Operating Certificate. After financial restrucuring to modernize its fleet, the airline resumed operations in 2010but suspended operations again in 2014.
