Historical Note

New York, Rio, and Buenos Aires Line, also known as NYRBA or NYRBA Air Lines, was a short-lived American airline. Established in 1929, the airline operated seaplane service from New York City to Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, among other destinations. It ceased operations in 1930 when it was acquired by and merged into its competitor, Pan American World Airways.
