Historical Note

Woodley Airways was a charter service airline that operated in Alaska. Established in 1932 by Arthur G. Woodley, it offered flights between Anchorage and Nome via Bellanca single engine aircraft. In 1943, Juneau was added to its destinations. The airline ceased operations in 1945 when it became Pacific Northern Airlines.
