Historical Note

Skymark Airlines was an intrastate commuter airline based in Sacramento, California. Established in 1968, the airline offered service to Bakersfield, Fresno, Lake Tahoe, Monterey, Oakland, San Francisco, and San Jose. It ceased operations in 1969 when it was acquired by and merged into Golden West Airlines.
