Historical Note

Northern Consolidated Airlines was started in 1947. It was an Alaska-based airline and was an amalgamation of Ray Petersen Flying Service, Northern Airways, Walatka Air Service, and Northern Air Service. In 1968 it merged with Wien Alaska Airways and became Wien Consolidated Airlines, later Wien Air Alaska. The airline ceased operations in 1984.
