Historical Note

Commuter Airlines was an American regional airline. Originally established as a Broome County Aviation, Inc. in 1964, the airline changed its name to Commuter Airlines in 1965. It offered air taxi and charter service as well as scheduled passenger service unti it ceased operations in 1984 due to financial strife.
