Historical Note

Pickwick Airways was a short-lived passenger and charter airline based in Southern California, 1929-1930. It initially only offered flights from Los Angeles to San Diego and San Francisco, but added flights from Los Angeles to locations in El Salvador, Guatemala, and Mexico. The airline ceased operations due to financial problems but were succeeded by Gilpin Air Lines.
